The school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). In July, 2014, ACCSC awarded Carnegie Institute the School of Excellence Award, the highest award granted by the Commission.

The Medical Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), upon recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).

The Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), upon recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Education in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (CoA-NDT).

The Cardiovascular Technologist Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), upon recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT).
